Thirty-six residences between the bay and the beach, with marina slips and a liberal rental policy.

Vanderbilt Bay is a pair of six-story buildings at 10420 and 10482 Gulf Shore Drive, eighteen residences each, set on the bay with deeded private beach access a short distance across the road. Corner homes run front to back with lanais on both ends — sunrise over the channel, sunset over the Gulf. Marina slips sit behind the buildings, and twelve leases a year with a thirty-day minimum makes this one of the few addresses here that works as comfortably for an investor as for an owner.

What a Vanderbilt Bay residence comes bundled with matters as much as the residence itself — a slip with a lift, a garage space, a cabana, or none of the above, and the spread between them is substantial. Tell us what you need attached to the purchase and we will assemble a private selection across both buildings, including residences being quietly prepared for market. Residences at Vanderbilt Bay

Plans range from roughly 1,045 square feet to just over 2,000, in one and two-bedroom configurations, and several have been reconfigured by owners to add a second bedroom or office. The end and corner residences are the ones that define the building: they run the full front-to-back footprint with L-shaped lanais at both ends, so a single home takes the bay and the channel to the east and the Gulf and sunset to the west. Wrap-around lanai space exceeds 400 square feet in some residences. Many have been fully renovated with impact glass, open kitchens and updated baths. The association replaced the roof in 2024 and elevator pistons in 2025. Floor plans are available on request.

Boating, the Beach and Location

Marina slips sit on the bay behind the buildings, several fitted with lifts and floating docks, and a straight run to the Gulf through Wiggins Pass. Some slips convey with a residence and others are bought separately, so it is worth establishing early which listings include one. Across the street, deeded private beach access puts the sand a short distance from the lobby — roughly fifty steps from the nearer building. The saltwater pool, tennis and pickleball court, grills and outdoor shower all overlook the water. LaPlaya, the Turtle Club and the Ritz-Carlton are along the beach, Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is north, and Mercato and Waterside Shops are minutes east.
