Four residences to a floor in two plans. The 01 and 04 end homes run roughly 1,582 square feet with three bedrooms and two baths, and their corner lanais take the Gulf straight ahead and long views up the beach toward Delnor-Wiggins. The 02 and 03 residences sit between them at about 1,340 square feet with two bedrooms and a split layout that puts the guest room well away from the primary suite. Floor-to-ceiling impact sliders open the living areas onto the lanai in most homes, and electric storm shutters, in-residence laundry and walk-in closets are standard. The Building and Its Setting
Sea Chase was conceived in 1990 as a larger project called Palais Sur La Mer; the original developer failed, the plan was scaled back, and the building received its certificate of occupancy in January 1995 — which is why it is one of the newest beachfront buildings on Vanderbilt Beach and one of the smallest. The gate, the secured lobby and thirty-one owners keep it quiet. The heated pool sits on the beach side with cabana baths alongside, and a private walkway leads to the sand. The Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort is adjacent, with its dining and spa; the Turtle Club and LaPlaya are a short distance along the same beach, and Mercato and Waterside Shops are minutes away.
