Nine Residences With Water on Both Sides

Gulf Cove is a boutique building of only nine residences at 10562 Gulf Shore Drive, set on the bay side of the street with the beach directly across from it. Because the building is narrow and the residences run the full depth, owners look west to the Gulf and east over the bay from the same home — sunsets from the lanai, boats and dolphins from the kitchen.

Residences and the Double Exposure

Most of Gulf Cove runs as two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-den plans in the range of roughly 1,175 to 1,230 square feet, with a larger combined residence on the first level offering three bedrooms across approximately 2,500 square feet. The distinguishing feature is the cross-exposure: with only one or two residences per floor, homes here take the full width of the building and capture the Gulf on one side and Vanderbilt Bay on the other. Screened lanais on the bay side look out over the water at boats and wildlife, while the west side takes the sunset. Floor plans are available on request.

A 30-day minimum with up to twelve leases a year is unusually flexible for a building this small — effectively monthly rentals available year-round. That makes Gulf Cove workable as a seasonal income property as well as a personal residence, and it is worth reviewing a specific home’s rental history before you write an offer. Parking is one assigned space beneath the building, and pets are not permitted.

Location on the North End

Gulf Cove sits toward the northern end of Gulf Shore Drive, where the street narrows and the buildings get smaller. Beach access is directly across the road, so there is no drive and no parking hunt. LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, the Turtle Club, the Ritz-Carlton’s Gumbo Limbo and Buzz’s Lighthouse are all within a short walk or a two-minute drive.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a few minutes north. Inland, Mercato’s dining, shopping and nightlife sit at Vanderbilt Beach Road and U.S. 41, with Waterside Shops and Artis—Naples a short drive south. For buyers who want water views in both directions without a tower’s scale or assessments, this is one of the few buildings on the street that delivers it.
