Four connected buildings around a courtyard of fountains and reflecting pools.

Allegro was delivered in 1981 by First Regency and the Lutgert Companies, three buildings south of Park Shore Drive. Rather than a single slab, it is four interconnected buildings of 14 stories holding 76 residences, arranged around a landscaped courtyard. A 2018 renovation reworked the common areas and amenities.

Residences at Allegro

Six floor plans run from 2,116 to 2,520 square feet, which makes Allegro's residences larger than most in its price range on Gulf Shore Boulevard. The A and B stacks face west with partial Gulf views, the D and E stacks look east toward Venetian Bay, and the C and F stacks take north and south exposures with slighter Gulf views.

Worth being clear about: because of how the four buildings are arranged, Gulf views here are partial rather than the full-frontal water walls of the first-position towers. What you get in exchange is square footage, a quiet courtyard setting and a price per square foot well below the neighbors, which is why Allegro appeals to buyers who want space on the beach side of the boulevard.

Amenities and Life at Allegro

The courtyard is the signature: fountains, reflecting pools and mature landscaping between the buildings. Residents also have a beachside pool and spa, a fitness center, billiards room, library, community room, picnic area, bike and extra storage and under-building parking, with 24-hour security. The 2018 renovation updated the common areas throughout. The Park Shore promenade runs along the beach in front, and the Village on Venetian Bay is a short walk north.
