What a Season at The Dunes Looks Like
Mornings begin on a west-facing lanai over Turkey Bay, the mangroves and the Gulf beyond. The Plantation Club is a short distance from every tower: the lagoon pool and tiki bar for the afternoon, the fitness center and six Har-Tru courts in the morning, the Royal Palm Room and The Sandbar in the evening, all of it open to approved guests exactly as it is to owners. The beach is a few minutes away at Vanderbilt Beach or Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, and the Ritz-Carlton, LaPlaya, Mercato and Waterside Shops fill the rest of the week. It is the rare Naples rental that gives a visitor a whole resort rather than a single condominium.
Choosing the Right Tower for Your Stay
The Island Cove towers, Antigua, Barbados and Cayman, are the flexible choice: three-bedroom residences from about 1,900 to 2,200 square feet, a thirty-day minimum, and the closest position to the club and the beach gate, which makes them the natural fit for a single month or a first winter in Naples. The Grande Preserve towers ask for ninety days and reward it with private elevator entries, larger plans up to about 3,700 square feet and the higher Gulf horizons, and are where returning seasonal guests tend to settle. Sea Grove's lakefront coach homes suit families who want a garage, a front door and no elevator at all. Monthly rents scale accordingly, from the Island Cove towers at the accessible end to the Grande Preserve at the top.
Annual Rentals
Annual leases at The Dunes are permitted but rarely offered, since most owners rent by the season. When one becomes available it is usually arranged privately before it is listed, so if you need a full-year home here, request a list and we will let you know as they surface.

What is the shortest stay available at The Dunes?
Thirty days, in the Antigua, Barbados and Cayman towers. The Grande Preserve towers and Sea Grove require a ninety-day minimum. Nightly and weekly rentals are not permitted anywhere in the community.
Do vacation guests get to use the Plantation Club?
Yes. Approved guests enjoy the resort pool, tiki bar, dining, fitness center, tennis and pickleball for the length of their stay. The Floridian Club beach club is reserved for member-owners and does not transfer to guests.
When should I book a winter stay at The Dunes?
For January through April, most desirable residences are committed by early fall of the prior year, and repeat guests often rebook before they leave. Off-season stays from May through December can usually be arranged on shorter notice.
Is The Dunes on the beach?
No. The Dunes sits on the preserve side of Vanderbilt Drive overlooking Turkey Bay, with Gulf views from the towers. Vanderbilt Beach and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park are a short distance from the gate, and the club's pool and beach-style amenities are inside the community.
Can I bring a pet to a Dunes vacation rental?
Only if the owner allows it. Every building permits two pets with breed restrictions, but owners decide whether their residence is pet-friendly for guests, so tell us up front and we will search accordingly.
Rental policies, approval requirements and club privileges are set by each association and are subject to change; verify current terms in the condominium documents and with the association before leasing.
