A chair set on the sand, lunch at the water’s edge, the same faces every season.
That is what a Naples beach club sells, and there are two ways in. A few clubs accept members who own nothing nearby. Most belong to a neighborhood or a building, and the only way to join is to own there. This guide sorts the private beach clubs of Naples north to south, with who may join and what it costs, as published or reported.

Can You Join a Naples Beach Club Without Buying a Home?
Yes, though the list is short. LaPlaya Beach & Golf Club on Vanderbilt Beach sells a Social membership, currently available with no wait list, that includes beach and pool service, private club dining, the SpaTerre spa and the fitness center. The Edgewater Beach Club on Gulf Shore Boulevard North offers membership to non-residents, with a Gulf-front pool, private beach and fitness classes. Paraíso Beach Club, now under construction on Vanderbilt Beach, will open to the public with membership capped at 600-plus and is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Two clubs are often mistaken for options here. Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, does not sell social memberships; its club is offered only to residence owners, as our Naples Beach Club membership guide explains. And Tiburón’s Medallion membership, open to non-residents, specifically excludes the pool, sundeck and beach facilities of The Ritz-Carlton beach resort. For boat owners, Pelican Isle Yacht Club at Wiggins Pass accepts non-residents, who make up most of its membership, and runs a shuttle to Barefoot Beach; it is currently full, with a wait list.

Beach Clubs That Come With the Address
Most private beach clubs on the Naples coast cannot be joined at any price without the right deed. Membership belongs to a neighborhood association, a foundation or a building. In Bay Colony and Pelican Bay it comes automatically with the home; in Port Royal it must be claimed after closing; at Naples Beach Club it is applied for. For many buyers, the club decides between two otherwise similar homes.

How Club Rights Pass With a Sale
The rules differ by club, and they matter most at closing. Port Royal Club eligibility is tied to the parcel: a buyer has 90 days after closing to claim it, with 25 percent of the current initiation due in that window, and a missed deadline ends the property’s eligibility permanently. Floridian Club access belongs only to residences in the four Grande Preserve towers at The Dunes; it was not sold with Antigua, Barbados, Cayman or Sea Grove and cannot be bought separately. Naples Beach Club membership is optional and applied for by each owner. In Bay Colony and Pelican Bay, club privileges pass with the home through the association. Before you write an offer, we confirm in writing whether the club transfers, what it costs to claim and whether there is a wait.

The Beach Itself Stays Public
In Florida, the beach seaward of the mean high-water line is public, and a private club controls only its own facilities and the dry sand it owns. When Collier County approved Paraíso Beach Club in October 2025, it required a 15-foot strip of sand kept open for the public to walk the shoreline. A club buys service, privacy and a community of neighbors; the water’s edge belongs to everyone.

Naples Private Beach Club Questions
Can you join a beach club in Naples without owning property?
Yes. LaPlaya Beach & Golf Club sells a Social membership with beach and pool privileges, the Edgewater Beach Club offers memberships to non-residents, and Paraíso Beach Club on Vanderbilt Beach will open to the public, with membership capped at 600-plus, in the fourth quarter of 2027. Most other Naples beach clubs are reserved for owners in a specific neighborhood or building.
Does Naples Beach Club offer a social membership?
No. The club at Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, is offered only to residence owners, who apply for it separately. Social and corporate memberships are not offered, although some resort venues are open to the public by reservation.
Does a Tiburón membership include the Ritz-Carlton beach?
No. Tiburón’s Medallion membership is open to residents and non-residents, but its terms state that members may not use the pool, sundeck or beach facilities at The Ritz-Carlton beach resort. It includes beach transportation, not beach club privileges.
Which Naples neighborhoods include a private beach club?
Bay Colony and Pelican Bay include beach club privileges with every residence. Port Royal, Seagate, Park Shore, The Moorings, Moraya Bay and the Grande Preserve towers at The Dunes have clubs or beach parks reserved for eligible owners, and Naples Beach Club offers its club to residence owners who apply.
How much does a Naples beach club cost?
Published figures range widely. Seagate Beach Club and Cutlass Cove Beach Club each charge $10,000 to join, LaPlaya’s Social membership is $130,000, and the Port Royal Club initiation was reported at $400,000 in 2026. Many clubs do not publish their fees, and terms change, so confirm current costs with the club.
Is the beach in front of a private beach club private?
Not below the mean high-water line, which is public in Florida. A club controls its own facilities and the dry sand it owns. When Collier County approved Paraíso Beach Club in October 2025, it required a 15-foot strip of sand kept open so the public can walk the shoreline.
Club terms, fees and availability are set by each club and change often. Figures are as published by the clubs or reported in 2026; confirm current terms directly with the club before relying on them.
