Home Sales Activity is Hotter than 2Q 2016

  Naples, Fla. (June 16, 2017) - Record-breaking rain fall in June did not dampen buyer interest in the Naples housing market as evidenced in the Second Quarter and June 2017 Market Reports released by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), which track home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island). The 2Q report showed strong and steady sales activity leading into summer with a 7 percent increase in overall closed sales to 2,880 closed sales in 2Q 2017 from 2,704 closed sales in 2Q 2016, and a 9 percent increase in overall closed sales for the month of June to 907 closed sales from 832 closed sales in June 2016.   SOURCE - NAPLES AREA BOARD OF…

A recent conversation...

I received a phone call from Marley, "I need to find a Rental"... Ok. I can help with that... "I'm currently renting a home in Golden gate Estates, but my lease is up and the owners want to move in." .... Oh. Wow, that sucks... "I know we love that house!" ... Yeah. That's what sucks about renting... How long have you been renting there? I ask because rent prices have gone up A LOT in the last couple of years. ... "I've heard that. But I do need to stay in this area since my kids attend the schools here and I do not want to move them."... I completely understand, my daughter would murder me if I tried to change her school...
