Many condo buildings and communities in Naples are loaded with resort-style amenities that range from state-of-the-art fitness centers to direct access to the beach. But if you're looking for something a little extra to help you stay in shape from the comfort of your own complex, tennis is a game that can provide exactly that.
Despite being a favorite among Florida residents, however, not every building or community in Naples offers private access to tennis courts. Fortunately for prospective condo buyers who love tennis as much as we do, though, we've identified just some of the top Naples condo buildings and communities with first-class tennis facilities.
Cap Ferrat
Cap Ferrat, built in 2002 in central Pelican Bay, has 22 floors of condos featuring Pelican Bay, Gulf or landscaped community views. Spacious three-bedroom units are available with more than 2,200 square feet of space and the penthouse units have over 6,000 square feet to make your home. Cap Ferrat is close to the tram station for fast access to everything the beach has to offer. Of course, tennis players will have eyes only for the community’s courts, which are well-maintained.
Beachwalk Gardens
Beachwalk Gardens was built in the late 1980s and features garden condominiums nestled within the Beachwalk development. In total, 176 condominiums make up about half of the community. Sizes range between 1,300 to 2,000 square feet, accommodating single professionals and young families or retirees. Play all day on the Har-Tru tennis courts or take a break to walk down to Vanderbilt beach to explore ocean views, restaurants and shops.
Admiralty Point
Admiralty Point is the featured community within Moorings Beachfront condominiums. Built in the late 1970s to early 1980s, the 10-acre parcel has two buildings, Admiralty Point I on the beachfront and Admiralty Point II, facing the bay. Besides fabulous clay tennis courts, the property features a spa, two pools, a fitness center and private beach access, as well as barbecue areas and boat docks.
Naples Bay Resort
If you're looking for a condo with a hotel-like living experience, consider Naples Bay resort. The Marina-based resort, open since 2007, has free shuttle services and lies about 1.5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. There are 80 rooms and suites directly on the waterfront marina. Additionally, there are 40 privately owned cottages built near the clubhouse. Full-time residents enjoy the resort’s excellent quality and recreational areas, which include tennis courts and a pool with a lagoon and waterfalls.
La Peninsula - Isles of Capri Condos
On the tip of the Isles of Capri, you can find La Peninsula, built in 1987, surrounded by views of the Gulf of Mexico, Johnson Bay and the Marco River. Six low-profile buildings lie directly on the waterways and feature gorgeous villas designed with custom features and privacy in mind. These single-family homes are surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and spectacular water views. Among the communities many amenities, you'll find highly rated tennis courts where you can practice your swing in style.
