Top 5 Things to Do When Buying a Home in Naples, Florida

These are the five most important steps in buying a house in Naples, Florida.

Number one: Get pre-approved. You need to know how much you're can afford, how much you need down, and what your monthly payments are going to be, so you can be comfortable. You don't wanna be house poor, right? 

Number two: Criteria. Now that you know how much you've been pre-approval for and what you can spend, you need to figure out what exactly it is that you want. Do you want a three bedroom? Are you going to work from home and need an office a den? Do you absolutely need a pool? Do you need to be in a specific area? All these things will help you narrow down and target in on the right property.

Number three: Make an offer. But don't get too excited! There are a few steps that you need to take before this. Make sure you're realtor does their homework and asks the right questions before you go spending money on an appraisal and inspections. There's questions you can ask beforehand to make sure that you're not wasting your money on the wrong property.

Number four: We're almost there! Make sure you meet your deadlines. Keep track of your deadlines. You have inspection contingencies, you have financing contingencies, all sorts of important events that you need to keep track of. So turn in your paperwork on time. Schedule your inspections and stay on track.
