Naples, Florida is often referred to as a "Little Beach Town"... however, over time Naples has continued to grow as has it's population. Although some areas may still retain it's small beach town charm such as Olde Naples - the majority of the city is busy, with new developments popping up what feels like daily and new residents pouring in. 2. Traffic

Naples, Florida is considered to be a Seasonal Town, referring to how "Snowbirds" tend to visit in the Winter Months when it is cold in their Northern states. This influx of visitors can create a significant and noticeable difference in traffic and congestion in the winter months. However, it's clear that Naples is becoming less and less seasonal and more of a busy city year round based on morning and afternoon traffic patterns of full-time residents headed and returning from work.

3. Hurricanes

It's no surprise that we have hurricanes in Florida, just last year in 2022 we were hit by Hurricane Ian and although it was not a direct hit, the storm surge caused significant damage to properties just West of Tamiami Trail / US 41. It seems every destination has their own set of natural disasters yet we are grateful that current technology can track when hurricanes form and provide us with plenty of time to prepare and/or evacuate.
