Not all days can be rainbows and sunshine... so on this gloomy day in Naples, I decided to practice what I preach and try to find beauty in the gloom. My wife, son and I visited Venetian Village in the Park Shore neighborhood of Naples. (A neighborhood we love and plan to retire in... until then, they let me visit as long as I behave.)
I set my camera to a Black and White and couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked in the high contrast setting... sunshine and clear blue skies became irrelevant and the city itself came to life.
We walked around for hours and enjoyed the cool gloomy day as I took 100's of pictures... below are the very few that came out presentable. Hey, 12 pictures out of 350+ taken isn't bad, right?
